Narrative:WHILE CROSSING A MOUNTAIN RIDGE AT LOW ALTITUDE, THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED DOWNDRAFTS. THE PILOT WAS FORCED TO LAND AS HE WAS UNABLE TO ARREST THE DESCENT RATE. THE LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED ONTO VERY ROUGH TERRAIN.
