Narrative:THE PILOT STATED THAT UPON ATTEMPTING A SOFT FIELD TAKEOFF THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE LEFT. THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR STRUCK A SAND BERM WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO EXIT THE ROAD INTO AN OPEN DITCH.
