Narrative:THE PLT MISJUDGED THE FLARE DURING LANDING AND THE ACFT TOUCHED DOWN IN A NOSE LOW ATTITUDE SHEARING THE NOSE GEAR FROM THE ACFT. THE DENSITY ALTITUDE WAS CALCULATED TO BE 3,500 FT WHEN THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED.
