Narrative:THE PILOT STATED THAT HE DID NOT USE PROPER TECHNIQUE AND DID NOT MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WHILE LANDING IN A BRISK AND DIRECT CROSSWIND. THE AIRPLANE WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED IN THE HARD LANDING THAT WAS FOLLOWED BY A GROUND LOOP.
