Narrative:DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL, THE PILOT NOTICED THAT THE LEFT DOOR WAS OPEN. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO CLOSE THE DOOR, HE FAILED TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND THE AIRCRAFT SUBSEQUENTLY STRUCK TREES ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF RUNWAY 23.
