PLT STATED, A WIND SHIFT OCCURRED ON SHORT FINAL RESULTING IN A SUDDEN UNCONTROLLABLE YAW TO THE LEFT. RIGHT AILERON AND FULL POWER WAS ADDED, HOWEVER, THE ACFT CONTACTED TREES BEFORE RECOVERY WAS MADE.
