Narrative:THE ACFT WAS DAMAGED IN AN OFF ARPT PRECAUTIONARY LANDING ATTER THE ENGINE BEGAN VIBRATING WITH THE OIL TEMPERATURE IN THE RED. THE PLT SAID HE TURNED OFF THE ELT TO CONSERVE THE BATTERY.
