Narrative:DURING A NIGHT INSTRUCTIONAL FLT ON LANDING APPROACH, THE INSTRUCTOR PILOT REPORTED THAT THE STUDENT OVER CORRECTED FOR A HIGH APPROACH BY CLOSING THE THROTTLE. THE ACFT HIT THE GROUND BEFORE HE COULD ESTABLISH CONTROL OF THE RESULTING HIGH RATE OF SINK.
