THE PLT CIRCLED THE AIRSTRIP PRIOR TO LANDING AND BELIEVED THE LANDING AREA IN SUITABLE CONDITION. DURING THE LANDING RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR MIRED IN A SOFT SPOT AND THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED.
