Narrative:THE ACFT EXPERIENCED A NOSE WHEEL STEERING MALFUNCTION & RAN OFF THE RWY DURING LANDING. THE NOSE WHEEL SYSTEM WAS REMOVED FROM THE ACFT & SUBMITTED FOR INSPECTION & OVERHAUL. EXAMINATION REVEALED THAT THE LEVER SHAFT 'EARS' HAD SEPARATED FROM FATIGUE.
