Narrative:ON DEPARTURE THE PILOT HEARD A THUMPING NOISE FROM THE UNDERCARRIAGE AND THE LANDING GEAR POSITION LIGHTS WENT OUT. HE EXECUTED A VISUAL RETURN AND APPROACH TO A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING. DURING THE LANDING ROLL, THE LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED.
