Narrative:
The helicopter was being used to transfer people and cargo to an oil platform. It crashed onto the platform after its rotor blades struck the platform's pillar. The helicopter was destroyed. The two pilots, who perished in the accident, were found to be very inexperienced with Bell 412. Two Japanese passengers also lost their lives.
