Narrative:Pilot was on his way from Nelspruit to the Nkorho Bush Lodge at Sabi-Sabi when the helicopter began to lose power. The pilot carried out an auto-rotation approximately 10km from the lodge. The hot exhaust set the long grass on fire and strong winds fanned the flames resulting in chaos and the helicopter burnt out. The pilot was however able to recover his log book, headset and some personal belongings before the helicopter was consumed by fire.
