Narrative:
Ex-USAF 84-1363, built by Fokker and delivered 29 January 1987. Had a mid-life update between March 1998 and January 1999.

Written off 19 July 2006 when crashed into the Waddenzee near the island of Vlieland around 15:00 hours local.The pilot (1st Lt M. Van Zuijam) was able to eject and was subsequently rescued by a KLu AB-412SP SAR helicopter. The cause of the accident was not confirmed, but the investigations all pointed to a crack in the diffuser case causing an engine failure/flame out
