Narrative:
Written off 20 September 1999 when suffered an electrical problem on approach, and crashed through the fence at the end of the runway at Luke AFB, Arizona. The F-16 overshot the runway after touchdown, and the impact sheared the nose and undercarriage off. The aircraft had landed without battery power, so the neither the tail hook nor the brakes were operational. Pilot, Major Sharon J. Preszler, flying solo, ejected safely
