Narrative:Written off 18 March 1990: This was reported as the first crash of an F-16A ADF. During a functional check flight, the engine stalled and the F-16 crashed 4 miles North-east of Wendover, Tooele County, Utah. 82-0937 was attempting to make an emergency landing at Wendover Airport, Wendover, Utah (ENV/KENV).
The pilot (Captain Daniel A. West, call-sign "PHANTOM 18") ejected safely. 82-0937 exploded and caught fire on impact with the ground, and was burnt out
