Takeoff at 08:12 hrs for operation Bodenplatte. Target: B.65 Maldegem, Belgium.

The aircraft was hit by 'friendly', German Flak.
The pilot, Fw. H-J. Kilian, did not survive and was initially buried at Amsterdam. He now rests at Ysselsteyn cemetery in Limburg; grave CT-8-198.
