Narrative:Einsatzverlegungsflug (non-operational sortie). During the spring and summer of 1944 Messerschmitts of the III./NJG 1 were flown to Eelde airfield in the early mornings to prevent them falling victim to Allied air attack.
Upon landing, the aircraft hit obstacles due to pilot error (Führungsfehler). The pilot, Oberfeldwebel A. Bross, was severely injured.
