Narrative:The aircraft failed to return from a Circus operation targeting the Oostende power plant.
It was shot down by fighter pilot Hauptmann Johannes Seifert of the Stab I./JG 26 (based at Saint-Omer - Clairmarais airfield), who was flying a Bf 109 F-4.
Sergeant G.E.F. Woods Scawen did not survive and washed up near Noordwijk (Zuid-Holland, the Netherlands) on the 20th of October
