Narrative:Feindflug (operational sortie). On this night, RAF Bomber Command raided Köln, Germany.
The aircraft was badly damaged in an encounter with Whitley Z6493. When attempting to land at Venlo, the aircraft turned over. The Luftwaffe pilot broke his neck and was killed. The damage was assessed at 80%.
