Narrative:Crashed, CNK. Location from Archives given as Mangarata River, no such place. Likely to be Mangarata Stream, either in the Waikato near Ngaroma, OR Bay of Plenty near Lower Kaimai. Both have topdressing airstrips nearby. My educated guess is Waikato.
