Narrative:THE PILOT MISREAD HIS ALTIMETER AND MISJUDGED HIS ALTITUDE WHILE IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN FOR LANDING AT THE PRIVATE GLIDERPORT. THE GLIDER COLLIDED WITH POWERLINES ON THE APPROACH END OF THE RUNWAY AND CRASHED SHORT OF THE RUNWAY SURFACE.
