Mosquito DD665: Took off for Night training flight /interception practice. 02/02/1943
Mosquito DD665 had a faulty radar.
Mosquito DD665 in mid air collided with Mosquito DD785 at 10,000 feet over Southampton area at 23:15 hrs. Mosquito DD665 crashed Bishops Waltham Hants.and burnt out.
Navigator baled out and landed safely. Pilot's body was found in wreck near RAF Thorney Island.
