Narrative:
At about 0815 emergency services were advised of a plane crash at Raumai.
Responding to the scene of the crash they found the wrecked Airtrainer with its pilot, the only occupant, dead.
Squadron-Leader Nicholas Cree of the Red Checkers R.I.P.

Analysis of the plane's Fatigue Data Recorder shows that S/L Cree was performing a manoeuvre called the 'fishtail pass' at 58 knots when control was lost and the aircraft crashed from about 180 feet.
