Mosquito DZ754/F: Took off at 10:00 hrs for Recce mission over Norway coast. 23/06/1943
Aircraft started, together with another Mosquito plane on a recce of the Norwegian coast from lighthouse Holmengrå near Bergen and northwards. Off Ytteroen 3 ships were after a while sighted.
Pilot attacked the leading ship but encountred accurate 20mm flak defence. Aircraft then hit passing over 20km west of Florø and rolled over three times before crashing on land and bursting into flames.
