Mosquito DZ603 Night exercise. Overshot landing and crashed nr St.Ives Hunts. T/o for a night exercise. Crashed at 22:25 hrs in Marley Gap Field, Hill Farm near St. Ives Huntingdonshire after overshooting from an approach with the starboard engine feathered. Both airmen were very seriously hurt and taken to RAF Hospital Ely. 22.4.1944
