Narrative:
A77-741: Ex-RAF Meteor F.8 WA947. Delivered to the RAF at 8 MU 28/12/50. Transferred to the RAAF 21/2/1951. Written off (damaged beyond repair) 24/1/1952 when crashed 3.5 miles South of Base K-14, Kimpo, South Korea, while landing at K-14, due to engine failure. According to published accounts of the accident (see link #5):

"Flight Lieutenant V. Turner had a lucky escape from serious injury on 24 January 1952 when his aircraft, A77-741, suffered an engine failure and crashed whilst turning to make its landing approach. Although the Meteor was totally written off, Turner managed to escape the wreckage with only minor injuries."

Not repaired, struck off charge as Cat.5(c) and broken up for components.
