Supermarine Spitfire K9923 (c/n 143 - 143rd production Spitfire)
03/04/39: First Flown at Eastleigh, Southampton, Hampshire.
21/04/39: Delivered to 72 Squadron at RAF Chruch Fenton, North Yorkshire and coded 'LZ-H'.
13/07/39: Written off when made a wheels up landing at RAF Church Fenton, North Yorkshire.
00/08/39: Struck off charge as damaged beyond repair and "reduced to produce" (scrapped) at No.1 CRU, (Civilian Repair Unit) Cowley, Oxfordshire.
