The Bf 110 C-3 WNr 981 of Ergänzungs Staffel./NJG 1 crashed at 2335 hrs during a night training flight 1,5 km NW Neuhausen auf den Fildern, near Stuttgart. Both crew, Lt Alfred Lutz (pilot) and Gefr Horst Herbach (radio), were killed.
