Narrative:date of recovery-01/23/65.Passenger was studentpilot with 12 total flight hours. #5 cyl. Failed. Pilot Pennington and his sister departed from Brown Field destination Jacumba. Pilot had recently obtained his certificate ans was taking his sister for breakfast at Jacumba.
Engine had been recently overhauled and had very little operational time prior to the incident.
