Narrative:The pilot reported that, shortly after an uneventful touchdown, the airplane began to veer left. The pilot attempted to regain directional control with corrective actions, but the airplane continued off the left edge of the runway, slid down an embankment, nosed over, and then came to rest inverted. A postaccident examination of the airplane revealed no evidence of preimpact mechanical malfunctions or failures that would have precluded normal operation.
Probable Cause: The pilot's loss of directional control during the landing roll, which resulted in a runway excursion.
