Narrative:
THE AGRICULTURAL AIRPLANE IMPACTED THE GROUND ON A 45 DEGREE NOSE DOWN ATTITUDE AFTER COMPLETING A TURN TO REVERSE DIRECTION. NO ANOMALIES WERE FOUND WITH THE AIRPLANE OR POWERPLANT DURING THE COURSE OF THE INVESTIGATION. IN CONVERSATION WITH A CLOSE FRIEND THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT, THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD MANY OF THE COMMON SYMPTOMS OF A HEART ATTACK, SUCH AS SEVERE PAIN BETWEEN HIS SHOULDERS, CONSTANT BURNING TYPE INDIGESTION PAIN IN THE UPPER ABDOMEN, CONSTRICTING PAIN IN THE MID-CHEST AND INSIDE ARMS, AND BEING CONSTANTLY TIRED; HOWEVER, THE AUTOPSY REVEALED NO EVIDENCE OF NATURAL DISEASE THAT WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN INCAPACITATION.

Probable Cause: THE PILOT'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN TERRAIN CLEARANCE.
