A Canadian search and rescue helicopter located the crash site in northwest Somerset County, according to McCausland, and reported one person was killed in the crash and a second was injured. The helicopter airlifted the injured person from the crash site and was flying to a hospital in Quebec, he said. Aircraft based at YKZ.
Aircraft had filed YHZ to YSJ - diverted YQB however pilot contacted ATC saying he was experiencing icing and was going to find a place to land. At the time a heavy snowfall was reported.
