Narrative:Written off (destroyed) July 9, 1968 when crashed at Lock Haven, Pennsylvania: aircraft stalled and crashed in steep bank, whilst turning to final approach. The pilot - the sole person on board - was killed. According to the following excerpt from the official NTSB report into the accident:
"TYPE OF ACCIDENT - STALL
PHASE OF OPERATION - LANDING APPROACH: TRAFFIC PATTERN - CIRCLING
PROBABLE CAUSE(S)
PILOT IN COMMAND - FAILED TO OBTAIN/MAINTAIN FLYING SPEED

MISCELLANEOUS ACTS, CONDITIONS - POORLY PLANNED APPROACH - FIRE AFTER IMPACT"
