Narrative:While on loan to the Red Arrows the aircraft hit trees while attempting to rejoin the formation during a practice at Kemble, Gloucestershire. The pilot (Flight Lieutenant Jerry J. Bowler) did not eject and was killed when the aircraft struck the ground
