Narrative:
According to CAA records, Cessna F172H Skyhawk G-AVPI had its registration cancelled as "destroyed" on 12/2/2002. Presumably after a take off or landing accident at Netherthorpe, 2 Nautical Miles NW of Worksop, Nottinghamshire in late 2001 or early 2002. (Aircraft was based at Netherthrope, as the registered owner at the time was living in the Chesterfield area). However the aircraft was presumably repaired without the CAA being notified, as there is photographic evidence of G-AVPI taking off from Netherthorpe on 15/6/2004! (See link #1 below)

Registration G-AVPI restored 26/4/2005 to new owners in Skegness, Lincolnshire
