Narrative:1. Destroyed in Japanese air raid.
2. Actually damaged in a taxiing accident on the morning of 8Dec41, when the 44th Pursuit Squadron which had eight P-40s in service at the time, was to mount a dawn patrol. One aircraft ran into another in the dark while taxiing at the end of the runway. Aircraft "337" is in photo 111-SC-127012, NARA II, College Park, Maryland. This same aircraft was wrecked by 2nd Lt. George A. Whitman on 22Jul41 as aircraft 105/18P.
