Narrative:
Written off 29/03/1960: Birdstrike (seagull) struck the lower lip of the starboard air intake while climbing out from RAF Shajah at 250 feet. Made a safe landing back at Sharjah, Oman (at approximate co-ordinates 25:20:42 N 55:23:42 E). Pilot (Flt Lt Lydiate) uninjured.

Recovered to 131 MU, RAF Khormaksar, Aden 7/4/60 for repairs, but was later (on 10/12/60) declared a write off as Cat.5(scrap) and struck off charge
