Narrative:
A Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-27UB fighter jet crashed while performing aerobatics due to pilot error.
Both crew members, Col. Evgeny Oleynik and Major general Kanamat Botashov, ejected safely.

Major general was in command of the aircraft when control was lost.
Botachov, an Su-34 pilot and the commander of the Voronezh Malshevo air base, did not hold the qualifications to fly a Su-27.

During the Martial Court, Botachov claimed to ignore that the Su-27 had different flight characteristics than Su-34 and thought his pilot ratings for Su-34 were valid for Su-27.
Botachov was grounded and subsequently fired when it was established that he had forced Col. Evgeny Oleynik to give him the controls.
