Narrative:
According to police reports, shortly before 3:00pm on Saturday 18 August 2012, a 9-seater Cessna Aircraft from Flamingo Air, while attempting to land at Staniel Cay Airport, lost control and crashed landed into nearby bushes.

As a result of this incident a number of passengers were treated at the local clinic for minor injuries received and discharged. The aircraft received extensive damages.
