Narrative:
Blenheim L1537: Took off for Night Training flight /night bombing exercise. 13/03/1940
Low bombing was carried out today. Night flying was undertaken, one flight of three aircraft successfully carried out a formation flight from El Daba to Ismailia and back. Other pilots carried out local flying. P/O Garrad-Cole crashed on heavy landing but although considerable damage was done to the aircraft, the pilot escaped unhurt.
