Narrative:
Flew into ground & DBF on return from mission to Hannau. Took off from RAF Binbrook at 0052. Crashed 0812 while making an approach to RAF Kelstern airfield in Lincolnshire.All RAAF members of the crew were to Cambridge City Cemetery, while Sgt David rest in Bushbury (St.Mary) Churchyard, Wolverhampton. At the time of the accident, low cloud had reduced the visibility and Kelstern were trying to to home the crew towards the runway.
