Javelin FAW.9 XH717/"C" of 60 Squadron, RAF was written off 26/4/1966 after the starboard engine exploded during start up at RAAF Butterworth, Seberang Perai in the state of Penang, Malaysia

Declared to be damaged beyond economic repair, and Struck off charge as Cat.5(c): scrapped at 389 MU RAF Seletar
