Narrative:Miles Magister Mk.I L5948, RAF Wyton Station Flight; written off (damaged beyond repair) 10.5.38 when dived and crashed in field, near Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire. Both crew were killed:
Pilot Officer Ivor Jack Fawdry (pilot, aged 22)
Pilot Officer Colin James Carr Lee (aged 22)
According to a contemporary report in "Flight" magazine (May 19, 1938 page 489 - see link #3)
"FLYING ACCIDENTS
P/O Ivor Jack Fawdry and P/O Colin James Carr Lee lost their lives in an accident which occurred near Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, on May 10 to an aircraft of No. 139 (B) Sqn., Wyton, Huntingdon. P/O Fawdry was the pilot and P/O Lee the other occupant of the aircraft"
