Narrative:
Written off (damaged beyond repair) 17/4/2015 when crashed due to an "Inadvertent premature takeoff"
during the takeoff roll at a private airstrip east of Oxford, Oxfordshire. According to the following extract from the official AAIB report into the accident:

"Whilst accelerating along the grass runway during the takeoff roll, the aircraft crossed a set of raised farm vehicle tracks running perpendicular to the runway. The undulating ground caused the aircraft to become airborne prematurely, stall and then land heavily. The impact resulted in the landing gear collapsing, with subsequent damage to the engine propeller, cowl and the skin and main spar of the wing".

Damage sustained to airframe: Right landing gear, right main spar and skin, propeller and lower engine cowl damaged. All of which were presumably enough to render the airframe as "damaged beyond economic repair", as the registration G-AWAT was cancelled by the CAA on 7/8/2015
