Narrative:
Written off (damaged beyond repair) 17/4/1985 when crashed during agricultural (aerial application/top dressing/crop spraying) operations at High House Farm, Langrick Road, Coningsby, Lincolnshire. According to the following extract from the official AAIB report into the accident:

"During an aerial application flight, the aircraft was manoeuvring over high ground to the north east of the work site. The wind was light to variable, and there was a small amount of turbulence associated with the ground features. The pilot states that, as he completed a manoeuvre at low level, he felt the aircraft sink but was unable to correct this before impact with the ground. The aircraft came to rest inverted, but there was no fire."

Damage sustained to airframe: Per the AAIB report "extensive damage to all parts of the aircraft". As a result, the aircraft was presumably deemed to be "damaged beyond economic repair", and the registration G-BFJO was cancelled by the CAA on 3/6/1987 (just over two years later) as "Transferred to another country or authority > SPAIN". Not clear if this transfer was for spares use or rebuild
