Narrative:Written off (damaged beyond repair) 16 (or 17?) May 1948 in Egyptian AF attack on Sde Dov. The exact aircraft identity cannot be established due to multiple re-use of civil registrations to disguise the IDF/AF's covert operations - 9 aircraft were registered as VQ-PAI, 2 as VQ-PAJ, and 2 as VQ-PAS.
However, it is possible that the aircraft involved was ex-VQ-PAL which was (on paper at least) registered to the Aviron Flying School of Tel Aviv
