Cancelled 31.1.47 and re-registered (C of R 9746/2) 1.2.47 to British European Airways Corporation; based at Renfrew, Glasgow with effect from 7.49; later named "RMA Lord Roberts". New C of R R23 issued 1950. Damaged Tiree 12.4.51; to Renfrew, Glasgow for repairs 13.4.51. C of A lapsed 2.11.53. Cancelled 10.11.53 and re-registered 30.11.53 to C.E. Written off (damaged beyond repair) 2.8.54: Ground looped and tipped on its nose during emergency landing on grass beside the runway with a flat right tyre at Frankfurt Airport, Near Kelsterbach, Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, West Germany. The pilot and eight passengers were slightly injured. Aircraft damaged after returned from scenic flight over Frankfurt.
