Wellington Z1218 took off from RAF Holme-on-Spalding Moor, Yorkshire, to bomb the Antwerp docks, Belgium.
The plane crashed in Marchienne. Five out of six crew members died in the crash. They are buried at Charleroi Communal Cemetery.
