Narrative:
Two airplanes collided during exercise. One crashed. Crew bailed out. Mechanic died when parachute did not open. Other airplane landed safely.

Note: An "Avro" crashed in the Cordilleres during bombing exercise and was considerable damaged 24 October 1937. Pilot Sarg Julio Capuche and mechanic Sarg Vicente Quiroga escaped unhurt (La Nación (Santiago) 25 October 1937, p11)
